From the recording My Savior, My Lord, My King

"Where Can I Turn for Peace?" asks the question we all have in our most trying moments. Where can I turn for peace? Truly, Jesus Christ is the only source of real, lasting, eternal peace. It is Him who changes us, His sacrifice that redeems us, His Gospel that exalts us. In this arrangement, I depict a moment of utter despair, when all feels unsettled and hopeless, journeying through questions that lead to the ultimate answer, given in a moment of absolute peace and resolution--Jesus Christ is the only one. Where can I turn for peace? He, only one.
In His own words:  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek, and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30).

Lyrics

Where can I turn for peace?  Where is my solace,
When other sources cease to make me whole?
Where, with a wounded heart, anger, or malice,
I draw myself apart, searching my soul?

Where, when my aching grows? Where, when I languish?
Where, in my need to know, where can I run?
Where is the quiet hand to calm my anguish?
Who, who can understand?
He, only One.

He answers privately; reaches my reaching,
In my Gethsemane, Savior and friend.
Gentle the peace He finds for my beseeching.
Constant He is and kind.
Love without end.

Where can I turn for peace?
He, only One.
